Bio

Misha Kastrilevich was born on April 29th, 2000, and grew up in New Hampshire with their sister, mother, and father. Their parents were immigrants from Latvia and Russia. Growing up, they were exposed to many different media from iconic blockbusters to obscure soviet animation. They began writing in middle school, which quickly developed into a love for stories. Whether it be poems, short stories, or scripts, they loved to write. They also learned much about film theory, politics, and history from their schools and the internet.

They attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where they continued to hone their writing craft. While in NYC, they made two films and wrote several different scripts. However, they were forced to drop out of SVA due to their decreasing mental health. This forced them to focus on their mental health for two years before deciding to finish their academic career. Misha is now attending the California College of the Arts in San Francisco. They are working tirelessly not only to graduate but also to make a name for themselves in the film industry.
